SDNY Securities Fraud Head Joins Quinn Emanuel Amid Crypto Shift

Quinn Emanuel has hired Scott Hartman, a former Manhattan federal prosecutor, to be a partner in New York.

Hartman joins the litigation powerhouse after more than a decade in the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. He most recently was chief of its securities and commodities fraud task force, where he supervised hundreds of investigations and oversaw high-profile cases against Archegos Capital Management founder Bill Hwang and FTX cofounder Sam Bankman-Fried.
